Trade Assistant - Engineering Workshop

Overview:

Trojan Recruitment Group are currently seeking experienced Trade Assistants to work in an engineering workshop in Naval Base.

About the Role:

• Assisting Boilermakers within an engineering workshop environment.
• Chute Lining – removing and installing ceramic wear plates.
• Grinding steel using 5&9 Inch grinder.
• Use of other workshop tools – drills, hammers, Bandsaw etc.
• Forklift Operating.
• Day shift 6AM start for 10-12-hour shifts - Monday to Friday, and every second Saturday for 6-10 hours (may be an extra Saturday).
• Pay Rate is $40 per/hr flat day shift.
• Potential opportunity for Night shift – Pay rate for $48.00 p/hr.
• Ongoing casual assignment, with potential of permanency.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive TA workshop experience assisting Boilermakers.
• High Risk work license – LF.
• Available to work Monday to Saturday.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Current Driver’s License and reliable transport.
