Shunter

Trojan Rail is currently looking to appoint a Qualified Shunter based in a Maintenance Facility in NEBO QLD.

We are seeking applications from committed and team orientated individuals to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Shunting
• Mechanical and practical skills for moving trains and carriages
• Knowledge of signalling, wagon types and classes
• Knowledge of the layout of railway yards, stations and lines
• Understanding of emergency, safety procedures and first aid

About you:

• Certificate 2 in Shunting
• Experinece in a similar position
• Current Drivers Licence
• Ability to pass a National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (CAT 2 Medical)
• Display a high regard for safety
