Requirements:

• Successfully pass all required pre-employment recruitment tests, including CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessments and site-specific tests/inductions
• Hold a valid Class C motor vehicle driver's license with no restrictions
• Have recognised national units of competence relevant to the position
• Proven experience operating a reach stacker and hold a current 'CN' Reach Stacker License, with demonstrated operational expertise
• Proven experience operating forklifts with a current license
• Demonstrated flexibility to work on a 24/7 roster, accommodating the busy port and operational demands of our clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload goods from rail rolling stock using proper handling techniques
• Ensure timely service delivery and meet customer service levels
• Conduct routine pre-start inspections on the Reach Stacker and equipment, reporting any defects or necessary repairs to the Depot Supervisor
• Operate the Reach Stacker and forklifts in adherence to safe operating procedures
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a strong focus on safety at all times
• Collaborate closely with Depot Management and Operations Staff to optimize operational efficiency and teamwork
