Job description
Trojan Rail is actively seeking individuals to join our dynamic team in Broken Hill. We have immediate openings for enthusiastic and Qualified Locomotive Drivers. As a prospective team member, your commitment to South Australian NCOP (National Code of Practice) Safeworking is crucial, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of trains in line with Trojan Rail's regulations and federal laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Salary on offer is:
$125,000 gross per annum plus super for Qualified Locomotive Drivers without route qualifications, OR;
$190,000 gross per annum plus super for Qualified Locomotive Drivers with route qualifications.

- Safely operating trains from Broken Hill, NSW to Parkeston, WA
- Conducting thorough inspections pre and post-trips

Salary on offer is:
$125,000 gross per annum plus super for Qualified Locomotive Drivers without route qualifications, OR;
$190,000 gross per annum plus super for Qualified Locomotive Drivers with route qualifications.

- Possess a Certificate IV in Train Driving (Freight)
- Successfully pass all preliminary checks, including a CAT 1 Rail Medical
- Possess South Australian National Code of Practice Safeworking (NCOP)
- Possess Australian Working Rights
- Hold an unrestricted Class C driver’s license
- Route knowledge is desirable, but not essential
