About the Client:
Our client is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial turbines and diesel-electric locomotives. With a massive distribution centre in Yatala,  they are looking for a skilled and passionate Occupational Health Nurse who will run the onsite Medical centre that supports a blue and white collar workforce. 

About the Role:
You must be a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) registration. This role would be ideal for a mother or father who is looking to return to the workforce working 20 hours per week, from 9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday. 

Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Day to day operation of the on-site Medical Centre
  • On site medical advice and management of employees
  • Medical Administration, including maintenance of employee medical records
  • Injury Management (review and post injury management)
  • Fitness to Work / Pre-employment data interpretation
  • Assist the RTW Coordinator on Workers Compensation & return to work plans
  • Worksite assessments
  • On-site employee health assessments
  • Coordination of off-site First Aid training
  • Maintenance of medications, trauma kits, first aid kits etc
  • Ability to grow stakeholder relationships
  • Ad hoc work with OHS Coordinator to support facility safety and well-being initiatives
Essential Criteria includes:
  • Current Registered Nurse (AHPRA) registration
  • Effective patient assessment skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to assess medical reports against standards
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong time management
  • Ability to work both within a team and autonomously.
