Mechanical Fitters - Navy Defence Maintenance

Trojan Recruitment Group are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters. These roles are for a navy defence maintenance contract located in Henderson and Garden Island. 

About the Role:-

• Mechanical maintenance on the Collins Class Navy Submarines.
• Local Henderson & Garden Island based work.
• Day Shift – (06:30-15:30), regular OT available.
• Pay rate $60-66+penalties – rate classification is determined based on industry experience but will be within this range.
• 9-day fortnight pay cycle – every other Friday is RDO.
• Casual role working full time hours
• Project commencing immediately - for up to 12 months with strong possibility of been offered a permanent job direct with company based on performance
• Mobilisation process commencing immediately.

  
Key Requirements:-

• Extensive mechanical and/or Diesel engine maintenance experience in industrial environment.
• Must be an Australian Citizen – (Australian Passport or Birth certificate or Citizenship Certificate).
• Trade Qualified Fitter.
• White Card.
• Current Confined Space Ticket (within 2 years).
• National Police Clearance (within 3 months).
• Covid-19 Digital Cert
