Maintenance Fitter - $50 p/h + super

About the role

• Operate and maintain machinery
• Schedule inspections and condition assessment on machinery
• Maintain production plant; working on the pneumatic equipment, conveyors, cutters
• Fault finding and preventative maintenance
• Working closely with the Operations team

Requirements

• At least 2 years experience as a fitter in a FMCG environment
• Experience with FMCG machinery
• Experience as a fitter in a food manufacturing company highly advantageous
• Must be available for weekend work when required
• General understanding of production planning and manufacturing practices
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions during emergency situations.
• Identify operational and equipment improvement opportunities through ongoing investigation and root cause analysis of fault.
