The Job Role:
- Operation of locomotives including mainline, shunting and yard operations.
- Examine and certify trains ready for departure
- Apply best practice train management techniques to ensure efficient and safe train operations.
- Work in accordance to our customers safety and operational standards and procedures
- Contribute to continuous performance improvement
- Provide excellent customer service
- Certificate IV in Train Driving
- Proven work history in Locomotive Driving
- Experience in NSW or QLD Safeworking Systems
- Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence
- Must have the rights to work in Australia
- Pass a CAT 1 Rail Medical, Musculoskeletal & Fitness Assessment
- A strong commitment to safety
- Capability to work Shift Work
- Commitment to Trojan Rails values and a willingness to embrace a diverse work environment
