Key Responsibilities:
- Operate locomotives safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- Assist the driver in the operation and management of the train
- Conduct pre-departure checks and ensure the train is in optimal working condition
- Communicate effectively with the control and other crew members
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting as required
- Ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods
- A Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong understanding of rail safety and operational procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
