Job description

Trojan Rail is looking for a Hi-Rail Excavator Operator for ongoing fly in / out assignment into remote South Australia. Each work block is scheduled 12 hours each day with 1 x fatigue day included.

Key Duties include (but not limited to):-

Working as part of a close team undertaking rail alignment, you will primarily be operating the Hi-Rail Excavator with tamp head. You will also perform other team-based tasks as required including (but not limited to) marking track for alignment.

Skills & Experience:-
  • RIW (Rail Industry Worker) card with Hi Rail competencies
  • Experienced in tamping track via Hi-Rail Excavator
  • Current driver’s license
  • Be physically fit
  • Good communication skills & ability to fit into team environment
  • Current resume and contactable work references
  • Willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing
