Trojan Rail is excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals interested in a rewarding career in the rail industry. We are now accepting expressions of interest for aspiring Driver Assistants. These positions are on a casual basis.
For the first 6 weeks, you will be required to attend training based at our client's Geelong depot. Accommodation and meals will be provided during this training period. After 6 weeks, this position will be based at Yarrawonga, Victoria depot.

About the Role:
As a Locomotive Driver Assistant, you will be essential to ensuring the safe and efficient operations of our client’s services. This dynamic role involves collaborating closely with Train Crew, Operational Staff, Maintenance & Terminal teams, and Network Control.
This nationally accredited program will help individuals become skilled casual Train Driver Assistants. You will receive a training rate of pay while in the classroom, then a verification of competency (VOC) pay rate during practical assessments being conducted by a Qualified Driver Trainer and then advance to the qualified train driver assistant rate once competency has been achieved and working on site
