We are now accepting expressions of interest for aspiring Driver Assistants based to work at our customer at Narrabri and Gunnedah depot on an on-going casual basis

As part of our nationally accredited program for Locomotive Driver Assistants, you'll be supported financially at every step. Initially, you'll receive a training rate whilst learning. This is followed by an enhanced rate whilst learning the role with your host employer. Finally, upon demonstrating your skills through the host employers’ verification of competency process, you'll earn the full rate of a qualified Locomotive Driver Assistant.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Keen on solving unexpected challenges and proactive in finding effective solutions.
  • Reliability: Dependable and consistent in attendance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire to continuously learn and grow within the rail industry and willingness to commit to six to eight weeks of classroom training
  • Current First Aid Certificate: Hold or be willing to obtain.
  • CAT 1 Rail Medical and Musculoskeletal fitness test. Will to obtain prior to employment.
