Embroidery Operator Assistant

Work for an Australian owned PPE and workwear supplier.  As an embroidery Operator assistant, you will ensure all orders are prepared, ready for production, and ensure the machines are consistently operating.

About The Role:

• Warehouse based in Malaga.
• Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM.
• Pay rate $30.00 per/hr.
• Causal on-going work with an opportunity to transition permanent after probation period.

Duties:

• General order Preparation of garments, sorting and organising garments for upcoming.
• Folding of garments, trimming of loose threads on new embroidered logos, and order packing.
• Cross-checking of garments against Sales order.
• Threading machines with new colours.
• Unpack garments out of the packaging.
• Pack and dispatch boxes.
• General clean up – wipe downs, empty bins, put away items for recycling.
• Update an activity sheet including the number of units embroidered, embroidery machine operator and time the job is completed.

  Key Requirements:

• Experience in a similar environment is desirable.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills for Data entry.
• Time management and organisation skills to ensure all tasks are completed within the timeframes.
• Be able to work in a team and autonomously.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
