Our client is one of the world's leading Freight Forwarding companies. Based near Melbourne Airport, they are on the hunt for an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join the team.

The Role
As a Data Entry Clerk, your responsibilities will involve:
- Data entry
- Administration work
- Dealing with a high volume of inbound/outbound calls
- Respond to export shipment queries received via radio communication and resolve issues promptly
- Liaising with clients to facilitate their orders
- Tracking shipments
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Conduct warehouse checks to identify and scan shipments in the held cage for timely processing.
- Some physical handling of shipments required (light lifting only). Candidate must be flexible with wearing safety PPE and supporting warehouse activities when needed.
In order to establish your career within this position, you will require the following attributes and attitude:
- At least 2+ years of experience in a Data Entry role
- Ability to thrive and keep up with a fast paced and high pressure environment
- Proficient with computers and comfortable navigating multiple systems (Training for DHL systems will be provided on the job)
- High attention to detail
- Efficient typing skills (minimum 40–60 WPM) with strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
- Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Experience in data entry in a freight forwarding/ logistics company highly desirable
- Positive personality and attitude
