Counter Balance Forklift Operator (Hybrid Role)

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, and safety-focused Forklift Operator for our client in Dandenong South. The position is 6am - 2pm OR 2pm - 10pm and is an ongoing casual role with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
We require the applicant to have strong Forklift experience along with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be working for a leading distribution warehouse in Dandenong South and work in a supportive environment where you'll have the tools and training you need to grow and succeed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):-

• Mixed duties of operating the forklift or LO and store person role
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Pick Packing
• Pallet wrapping
• RF scanner use
• Replenishment and manual lifting (up to 25 kg)

Skills/experience:-

• MUST hold a current forklift license
• LF license with experience essential
• LO license and experience not mandatory but beneficial
• Must be willing to obtain LO in near future 
• Previous warehouse experience essential
• Full working rights
• Have a safety obsessed mindset
• Provide two valid work references
• Hold a valid driver's license with reliable transport
• Physically fit and willing to do manual handling
• Complying and performing all tasks safely
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
