Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistants for ongoing work in the Newcastle CBD region. You will be assisting tradesman with the installation of escalator and elevators.
To be successful for this role you must:
The successful candidate MUST have previous experience working on a construction or in a manufacturing/heavy industrial environment and have the ability to perform heavy and physical work.

To be successful for this role you must:
- Have a White card
- Be a Trade qualified Boilermaker
- Have previous Construction Industry experience and have worked on construction sites
- Experience with using power tools and installation works
- Previous Mechanical or Carpentry Trade Assistant experience
- General mechanical fitting knowledge and experience an advantage
- Maintenance experience and ad hoc labouring duties
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Have a good eye for detail
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have own reliable form of transport
- Be available for an immediate start
- Be flexible and easy-going attitude (Essential)
- Be able to provide two recent work references (Essential)
