Advanced Riggers - Navy Defence Maintenance

Trojan Recruitment Group are currently seeking experienced Advanced Riggers. These roles are for a Navy Defence maintenance contract located in Henderson.

About The Role:

• Submarine Maintenance Program.
• Rigging – heavy lifts installing and replacing various parts of submarine.
• Henderson based but you may be asked to go to Garden Island.
• Dayshift on $55.81 per/hr + penalties.
• 9-day fortnight (RDO every second Friday).
• Project commencing ASAP for 3 months with possibility of extension thereafter based on project requirements and performance.
• Mobilisation process commencing immediately.

  
Key Requirements:

• Extensive Rigging experience within defence and/or heavy industrial sectors.
• High Risk Work Licence– RA LF (must have Forklift ticket).
• White Card.
• Current Confined Space Ticket (within 2 years).
• Must be an Australian Citizen – (Australian Passport or Birth certificate or Citizenship Certificate).
• Current National Police Clearance (within 3 months) OR willing to obtain one.
• Covid-19 Digital Cert. 
• Ability to pass ‘fit for work’ pre-employment medical including regular D&A screens.
• Current Driver’s License & reliable transport.
