About our Client: Our client in Helidon is a key player in providing explosives and blasting solutions to the mining industry. With safety at the core of everything they do, full training will be provided during your day shifts. After training, you'll transition to a 7-day rotating roster, balancing work and time off every fortnight. What are we looking for? Experience in assembly or manufacturing, especially with machinery, is advantageous but not essential. Great hand-eye coordination, the ability to work quickly, and a strong focus on safety could make you the perfect fit for this role. In addition: Are reliable and respectful towards others Demonstrate a positive and motivated work ethic Attention to detail is a must with a high level of accuracy Be willing to learn and be trained for success Mechanical aptitude is an advantage Must be able to display a high level of dexterity Must be able to obtain an Explosives Licence including a high level Police Clearance Have a reliable car and current drivers licence. About the role: This role will focus on running the EBS machine and associated work stations Set up and operate equipment in accordance with work instructions & procedures Loading coiled wire onto machinery Crimping of detonators onto wire assembly Packing assembled product in to boxes in required formats Quality & inspections and recording Perform basic mathematical equations and basic report writing Ensure all operations are performed to procedures and WHS and environmental requirement Benefits: $42.14p/hr flat rate Overtime on offer Opportunity to go from casual to permanent Ongoing and extensive training opportunities Extremely safe working environment.
