Trade Assistants

Trojan Recruitment Group are currently seeking experienced Trade Assistants to work in engineering workshops in the Naval Base and Henderson areas.


 Some of the Duties will include:-

• Assisting Boilermakers within an engineering workshop environment.
• Chute Lining – removing and installing ceramic wear plates.
• Assembly work – assisting fitters, riggers building mining equipment such as reclaimers & stackers.
• Grinding steel using 5&9 Inch grinder.
• Use of other workshop tools – drills, hammers, Bandsaw etc.
• Forklift Operating.
• Day shift 6AM start for 10/12-hour shifts Monday to Friday, most Saturdays.
• Ongoing casual assignment.

  
Key Requirements:- 

• Extensive TA workshop experience assisting Boilermakers or Mechanical Fitters.
• High Risk work license – LF.
• Available to work 10/11 hour shifts Mon to Friday and some Saturdays!
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Current Driver’s License and reliable transport.
