Trojan Rail is actively seeking individuals to join our dynamic team in Adelaide to drive, The Ghan. We have immediate openings for enthusiastic and Qualified Locomotive Drivers. As a prospective team member, your commitment to South Australian NCOP (National Code of Practice) Safeworking is crucial, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of trains in line with Trojan Rail's regulations and federal laws

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operating trains from Adelaide SA to Darwin NT
  • Conducting thorough inspections pre and post-trips
  • Adapting to route changes and emergencies
  • Continuous learning and adherence to safety regulations and practices
  • Contributing to a team environment in line with Trojan Rail's values

Requirements for the Role: Candidates interested in these positions must:
  • Possess a Certificate IV in Train Driving (Freight)
  • Successfully pass all preliminary checks, including a CAT 1 Rail Medical
  • Possess South Australian National Code of Practice Safeworking (NCOP)
  • Possess Australian Working Rights
  • Hold an unrestricted Class C driver’s license
