Are you our next Production Operator?

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Production Operator to join a global leader specialising in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of labelling and functional materials. This is a permanent full time role. Overtime available. Day, afternoon & night shifts available. Located near Moorabbin Airport.

About the role:

The role will involve operating plant, equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment. Day shift (7am-3pm)  or afternoon shift (3pm-11pm) or Night Shift (11pm-7am). If you are hard-working, honest, reliable and looking to start a new job in a great company, then this role is for you. 

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Operating all machinery as per requirements and guidelines
  • Forklift driving, receiving, despatch, picking, general warehousing duties
  • Using company systems for barcode scanning, data entry and printing
  • Quality control for any products not in line with standards
  • Follow all relevant operating procedures and processes
  • Complete all required documentation
  • Follow all required WHS rules and requirements
  • Achieve set operational targets
Skills and experience:
  • Machine operation exp in a manufacturing environment. Packaging plant and machinery exp well regarded
  • Forklift license with high reach
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to follow rules and guidelines for production and workplace health and safety
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills
  • Sound mechanical reasoning ability
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Driver's licence
