Production Maintenance Fitter

Trojan Recruitment Group is currently looking for a Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter, to work initially as a casual with opportunity of permanency for the right candidate. This role may involve call outs and weekend work.

Duties

• Perform all maintenance duties under the direction of the Maintenance Team Leader
• Be directly accountable and responsible for maintaining machinery and associated company equipment
• Able to work under limited or no supervision and supervise the work of lower level employees and apprentices.
• Train lower-level employees and assist non-trades employees in minor adjustments or maintenance when required
• Maintain, operate and test all equipment
• Provide technical advice on refrigeration related projects and tasks
• General maintenace duties as required
• Availability for overtime, call outs and weekend work

Required skills and experience

• Current resume with contactable work references
• Certificate lll in the vocation of Mechanical Engineering Tradesperson or similar
