Job description

Role Description:
   A unique opportunity to work with a solid South Australian Food Manufacturer who is a household name. You will be able to utilise your technical baking skills combined with team coordination with a creative flare. This is an on-going casual role with regular hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement through New Product Development
  • Being a champion for innovative food development techniques
  • Guiding and supporting team members towards achieving fantastic outcomes
  • Leading and coordinating a food production team
  • Maintaining high quality standards and strict adherence to procedures
You will need:

  • An extensive background in the Baking and Cooking industries with a demonstrated passion for creativity and understanding what makes a great product
  • Experience with Pastry, Cakes, Shortbreads, sweets etc
  • Team leadership experience and a great work ethic
  • Happy to work in a bulk cooking environment and are able to upscale skills if required
  • Sound knowledge of HACCAP and WHS policies and processes
