Night Shift - General Labourer & High Reach Forklift

Our client is one of Melbourne's leading Meat Processing Facilities, and they are on the hunt to add a General Labourer and a High Reach Forklift Operator to their team. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have experience working in cold-storage, and are looking for a temp-perm opportunity! 

General Labourer 
About the role:

• Stacking cartons on Pallets
• Heavy manual lifting required
• Be comfortable working in cold storage
• Be comfortable working with packaged meat products
• Be able to adapt to a fast-paced physical role with a focus on safety and quality
• Use of Tugger

Requirements:

In order to establish your career within this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

• Have availability for 5 shifts a week, Sunday-Thursday
• MUST be comfortable and able to work in a cold environment 
• MUST be comfortable and able to work with packaged meat products
• Be reliable, committed, punctual, willing to learn and have a positive attitude
• Must be an Australian/ NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Experience working in a meat/food processing facility is highly desirable

High Reach Forklift Driver
About the role:

• LF Forklift operation
• Pick Packing
• Warehouse duties
• RF scanner
• Replenishment and manual lifting 

Requirements:

In order to establish your career within this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

• Minimum 12 months of experience operating a LF Forklift
• Have availability for 5 shifts a week, Sunday-Thursday
• MUST be comfortable and able to work in a cold environment 
• MUST be comfortable and able to work with packaged meat products
• Hold a valid LF Licence 
• High Reach experience is essential
• RF scanning experience required
• Must be able to work with KPI's
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to work with boxed meat products
• A strong safety focus
• Hold a current Driver's Licence and have reliable transport
