Mechanical Fitter- Night Shift

Our client is a leading food manufacturer based in the south-eastern suburbs. They are currently in need of a Night Shift Mechanical Fitter

• Operate and maintain machinery

• Scheduled inspections and condition assessment on machinery

• Identifying problems in plant and machinery and improving its reliability

• Maintain production plant; working on the pneumatic equipment, conveyors, cutters

• Preventative maintenance

• Providing the status of the machinery and working closely with the Operations team

• Must be available for regular weekend work

• Fridays paid on overtime rate and penalties included

• Must have full-time availability

• Dandenong South Location

Requirements
In order to establish your career within this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

• Experience as a fitter in a FMCG environment

• Experience as a fitter in a food manufacturing company

• Must be available for weekend work when required

• General understanding of production planning and manufacturing practices

• Strong problem solving, analytical skills

• Experience with FMCG machinery
