Maintenance Fitter ( Day Shift )

Our Client , one of Australia's most iconic tissue brands are currently recruiting for skilled and hard working Day shift maintenance Fitters. They are looking for candidates who will provide mechanical support by utilising their knowledge and specialist trade skills.

The Role:

• Operate and maintain machinery
• Schedule inspections and condition assessment on machinery
• Working on the pneumatic equipment, conveyors & Milling equipment
• Fault finding and preventative maintenance
• Provide feedback on mechanical maintenance issues

Requirements:

• 5 years experience as a fitter
• Experience as a fitter in a paper mill highly advantageous but not essential
• Must be available for O/T when required
• General understanding of production planning and manufacturing practices
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills
• Experience with various machinery & equipment
