Maintenance Fitter

About the role

• Both Day and Afternoon shift roles available!
• Hands-on planned and preventative maintenance
• Using basic trade skills in maintaining or testing within various departments
• Repair and Fault Finding on Fixed Plant Machinery 
• Completing Scheduled Plant Service and/or Repairs
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Experience Essential
• Lubrication of bearings, conveyors & equipment
• Improve machine efficiency 
• General maintenance, repairing and fabrication as required

Requirements:

• MUST be Trade Qualified
• Great Fault Finding & problem-solving skills 
• General Maintenance Experience 
• MIG or TIG Welding Experience 
• Experience in FMCG Environment
• Broad knowledge of ISO / HACCP Systems
• Ability to track conveys and change out bearings
• Ability to use a lathe and milling machine for basic machining
• Excellent Communication Skills & Customer Service Aptitude 
• Must have a valid Australian driver's license and vehicle
• Must be available for work on weekends when required
• This role is only open to Australian Permanent Residents or Citizens.
