Job description
Trojan Recruitment Group is seeking 2 x HCB Repacker workers to support our client's operations in Matraville. This role involves handling and repacking bulk chemical waste - Hexachlorobenzene (HCB), operating mechanical load handling equipment and working in fully protective suits within a controlled environment.

Responsibilities:
- Handling and repackaging bulk chemical waste
- Operating mechanical load-handling equipment
- Wearing full toxic-material protective suits (including respirator)
- ~1 hour to suit up / ~30 minutes to exit
- Suited for up to 6 hours per operational period
- Following SOPs, JSERA, SWMS and all risk-control procedures
- Experience working in a similar environment
- Forklift licence (LF) essential
- Heavy Vehicle licence desirable
- Rigger/Mechanical/Electrical backgrounds advantageous
- Physically fit and able to pass a detailed pre-placement medical
- Non-smoker (strict no-smoking site)
- Able to pass ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing
- Reliable transport and strong attendance history
- Ability to follow safety instructions and work in a high-risk environment
- Highly structured safety-first culture
- Work on a significant environmental remediation project
