Freight Handler - Multiple Locations

We are currently on the hunt for multiple reliable and hardworking candidates to join the team of our client, one of the world's leading Logistics companies.

There are multiple roles available, across Day and Afternoon shift, and 2 different sites located in Port Melbourne and Tullamarine. 

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The Role

• Freight sorting
• Scanning freight as required
• Loading/unloading of freight
• Storing and packaging of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures
• Allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas
• Admin and Data entry as required
• General warehouse and housekeeping duties as required

Requirements
In order to establish your career in this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

• Freight sorting / Warehouse experience highly desirable
• Must be able to pass a National Police Check
• Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol assessment
• Dangerous Goods Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• RACA Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Physically fit
• Positive attitude, motivated and a quick learner
• Hold a current Drivers’ Licence and have own reliable transport
• Intermediate to advanced PC skills
