Freight Handler

We currently have an opportunity for an individual who is physically fit and keen to work, to join our team at our leading logistics company, on a casual basis. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and supporting the network operations, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The Role

• Freight sorting
• Scanning freight as required
• Loading/unloading of freight
• Storing and packaging of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures
• Allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas
• Basic visual display unit operation
• General warehouse and housekeeping duties as required

Requirements
In order to establish your career in this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

• Freight sorting / Warehouse experience highly desirable
• Forklift License desirable 
• Must be able to clear a police check
• Physically fit
• Positive attitude, motivated and a quick learner
• Hold a current Drivers’ Licence and have own reliable transport
