About the Role
As a Wagon Maintainer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of rail wagons to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Pay progression is linked to training milestones and competency sign-off on completion of VOC’s.

About the Role
As a Wagon Maintainer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of rail wagons to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Pay progression is linked to training milestones and competency sign-off on completion of VOC’s.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, and maintain rail wagons, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
- Perform scheduled servicing, component replacement, and modifications as required
- Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on wagon components, including brakes, couplings, and suspension systems
- Safely communicate using radios in a rail environment
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment

- Willing to learn and take direction from experienced team members
- Able to follow instructions and procedures in a safety-critical environment
- Reliable, fit for shift work, and capable of working independently or in a team
- Be able to complete a Rail CAT 1 Medical Clearance (including musculoskeletal test)
- Australian Class HR Full Driver’s License (no restrictions) or be willing to obtain one
- White Card
- LF Forklift Licence (or be willing to obtain one)
- Valid National Police Clearance (with no court outcomes)
- First Aid certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
- Basic computer & literacy skills
