Job description

Situated in West End, our client is a highly successful and progressive buying group in the industrial supply with members Nationally. Our members own Industrial Supply businesses that sell to the Construction, Mining and Industrial sector.

Reporting to the Procurement / Events Manager you will be responsible for relationship building, administrative duties and proactive sales desk activities. The role is integral and key to ensuring our members are serviced and relationships are supported and managed well.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and highly motivated person who will not only take direction and be completely open to mentoring but will also think strategically and logically and stretch their own abilities for the future. Well-mannered and with exceptional English written and verbal skills.

The Role:

  • Processing chargeback orders
  • Liaising with Suppliers & Members on quotes & sales orders
  • Providing administrative support
  • Updating suppliers and members contacts
  • Coordinating with sales and logistics teams to fulfil sales orders
  • CRM data entry and updating the database
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years in an Administration role
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of debtors and creditors
  • A can-do attitude
  • Previous experience in a customer service/admin support role (calling customers, processing orders, setting up new customers, sales support)
  • Knowledge of the industry is a plus
  • The ability to proactively call and follow up Suppliers and Members
  • Engaging and articulate communication style with the natural ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with accurate typing and data entry
  • Commitment to providing outstanding levels of customer service
  • A professional, confident and enthusiastic approach to your work
