Warehouse Supervisor

Trojan Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to effectively and safely manage all Warehouse operations, functions and personnel to ensure we meet our targets, objectives and customer requirements.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Support and encourage a ‘safety first’ culture.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of the team.
• Manage and monitor performance of warehouse operational personnel
• Work with teams to ensure work output is to a high standard with a focus on achieving targets.
• Support team meetings at which progress against KPIs is monitored and discussed.
• Recruit and retain staff to ensure rosters are complete while managing leave.
• Manage stock to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure we are getting the best deal.
• Ensure efficient customer deliveries to maintain timeliness of deliveries.
• Monitor operational costs in line with budgets

  
Skills and experience:

• Prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a leadership role.
• A solid understanding of warehouse functions, processes and systems.
• Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems. D365 preferable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High level reliability, punctuality, and ability to work under pressure.
• Great organisations skills.

  
You must also meet the below criteria:

• Drivers Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Certificate in Warehouse Operations (desirable)
• Ability to lift up to 15kg.
