Warehouse Officer

Trojan Recruitment Group partners with leading Queensland manufacturers and have done so for over 20 years. Our long term client, located in Helidon, are a world leader in supplying explosives to the growing mining industry. We are currently seeking an experienced warehouse pick packer/officer to join the distribution team. The role is casual with the opportunity to go permanent with an immediate start for the right candidate.

The Role

• Rotating Shifts Weekly: 6:30am to 2:00pm and 9:00am to 5:00pm 
• Identify raw materials and products required for the assembly plant
• Operate equipment in accordance with work instructions & procedures
• Picking and packing material into boxes in required formats
• Quality & inspection of materials, incoming and outgoing
• Ability to work with computer systems at a basic level
• Maintain a clean and organised work space

Requirements

• Have 3 months experience in an warehouse/distribution centre
• Must have a high level of dedication to safe work practices
• Demonstrate a positive and motivated work ethic whilst working proactively within the team
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Have a reliable car and drivers license
• High attention to detail as the role requires a high level of accuracy
• Able to pass a SSAN police clearance and medical check.
• Forklift license preferred, minimum 6 months experience.
• Some experience entering data into computer systems
