Special Class Welder

We have multiple positions available for Special Class Welders working at a state of the art fabrication facility in Henderson. You will be involved in various projects within the workshop including major defence, mining, oil & gas projects.
  
About The Role:

• Local state of the art workshop facility in Henderson
• Weld test asap, immediate start thereafter
• Day Shift - Pay rate:$52.12 per/hr flat.
• GTAW Pipe jobs carbon steel and stainless steel in 6G position.
• 10/11 hour shifts, Saturdays available also
• Long-term, Ongoing work
• Weld Testing involves - GTAW(TIG)2 inch diameter pipe tests carbon steel and stainless steel in the 6G position and/or GTAW/FCAW: 6 Inch diameter carbon steel in the 6G position.

  
Key Requirements:

• Must be able to pass Weld test.
• Recent site or workshop experience working as a special class welder
• Genuine interested in working locally
• Current Driver’s License & reliable transport.
• Ability to pass a ‘fit for work’ pre-employment medical
