About the Role

You will work within a busy freight terminal, operating reach stackers and forklifts to safely move, load and unload containers.

Hours will vary based on operational requirements, with regular shifts available across days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

What You Will Do

• Operate reach stackers and forklifts safely
• Load and unload containers from rail rolling stock
• Complete pre start inspections
• Report equipment defects promptly
• Complete operational documentation accurately
• Follow all site and safety procedures
• Support safe and efficient terminal operations

What You Will Need

• A current High Risk Work Licence with RS Reach Stacker class
• Proven experience operating a reach stacker
• A current High Risk Work Licence with LF Forklift class
• Forklift operating experience
• A current unrestricted Class C driver licence
• Flexibility to work varied hours across a 24/7 roster
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to complete a Category 1 Rail Medical, drug and alcohol screening, site inductions and other pre employment requirements

Desirable

• Current rail competencies
• Previous experience in rail, freight, port or intermodal operations
