Trojan Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a major defence contractor. There are currently vacancies for Trade Qualified and Experienced Mechanical Fitters to be a part of this exciting project, where there is an opportunity to develop your skills further.

Duties will include;

• The identification of defective or worn mechanical components or equipment
• Repair/replacement of work/faulty components
• Precision measuring instruments to check parts for accuracy and fit
• Experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Service vessels
• Maintain various systems onboard defence war vessels
• Lathes and Milling machines

 The successful candidate must have:

• Must hold Australian Trade Qualifications- Fitting & Machining
• Must hold Australian Citizenship
• Must have a current Police Clearance (within 3 months)
• Must hold current White Card
• Current resume with 2 checkable work references
• Safety focus at all times
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Participate in pre-employment medical prior to commencement
• Live in Adelaide
