Experienced Labourer / Yard Worker / General Hand

Our client is a busy steel galvanising company seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers / Yard Workers / General Hands to join the team. Multiple positions are on offer.

This is a hands-on role working in a yard and production environment, assisting with the handling and preparation of steel products.
 
Do you have a Forklift Licence? While not necessary, it is a definite bonus!

What’s on offer

• $31.19 per hour + Super – paid weekly.
• Monday–Friday, 5:00am to 13:00pm
• Potential for long-term placement.
• Immediate start available.

Duties include:

• Loading and unloading steel products
• General yard duties and housekeeping
• Assisting production staff
• Preparing steel for galvanising
• Operating basic tools and equipment
• Following workplace safety procedures

To be successful you will have:

• Previous labouring, yard, or factory experience
• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
