Service Technician - Window & Door Maintenance

Our client has over 150 years experience in the window manufacturing business. They are proudly Australian owned and operated and continue to strengthen in the residential market. Their goal is to provide sustainable windows to our clients in the building industry at the highest standard.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to complete maintenance on completed house lots.

The role will report to the Service Team Leader in Geebung and will look after the  customer base across wider Brisbane, Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. 

The Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing repairs at customer’s homes in making adjustments, replacing parts and pieces, taking measurement and documenting all work performed
• Responsible for driving to locations as directed by pre-set appointments according to territory assigned
• Maintaining service supply cabinets, doors and windows as required
• Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly fashion manner at all times
• Conducting manual handling in a safe way and in accordance with relevant manual handling training
• Reporting to Service Team Leader of any issue that needs addressing by a higher authority
• Reporting all workplace hazards and wearing appropriate PPE at all times

The successful candidate for this role will have:

• High level of communication skills, both written and verbal
• Prior experience working in a production/manufacturing environment
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Valid Driver’s License 
• Willingness to travel on the job north and south side of Brisbane
