Experienced Labourer / Yard Worker / General Hand

Our client is a busy steel galvanising company seeking reliable and hardworking Labourer / Yard Worker / General Hands to join their team. Multiple positions are on offer.

This is a hands-on role working in a yard and production environment, assisting with the handling and preparation of steel products.

What’s on offer

• Day shift - $31.19 per hour + Super, 5am to 1pm
• Afternoon shift - $35.87 per hour + Super, 1pm to 9pm
• Weekly pays.
• Potential for long-term placement.
• Immediate start available.

Duties include:

• Loading and unloading steel products
• General yard duties and housekeeping
• Assisting production staff
• Preparing steel for galvanising
• Operating basic tools and equipment
• Following workplace safety procedures

To be successful you will have:

• Previous labouring, yard, or factory experience
• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
