Freight Handler - Tullamarine

We are currently on the hunt for multiple reliable and hardworking candidates to join the team of our client, one of the world's leading Logistics companies.

There are multiple vacancies across both the Day,  Afternoon and Night shifts at their Tullamarine site. If you have experience in a similar role, such as Freight or Parcel Sorting, and you're looking for a new working opportunity, APPLY NOW!

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The Role

• Freight sorting
• Scanning freight as required
• Loading/unloading of freight
• Storing and packaging of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures
• Allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas
• Admin and Data entry as required
• General warehouse and housekeeping duties as required

Requirements
In order to establish your career in this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

• At least 6 months + of Freight Handling/ Parcel Sorting experience 
• Must be able and willing to pass a National Police Check with no disclosable court outcomes
• Must be able and willing to pass a Drug and Alcohol assessment
• Dangerous Goods Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• RACA Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• White ASIC card (or willing to obtain)
• Physically fit
• Positive attitude, motivated and a quick learner
• Hold a current Drivers’ Licence and have own reliable transport
• Intermediate to advanced PC skills
