About the role:

You will be delivering and assessing structured training programs for both Trainee Locomotive Drivers and experienced train crew through to qualified L4 Locomotive Driver status.

About you – you will possess:

• Certificate IV in Locomotive Driving (TLI42615 or equivalent)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
• Hold a current QLD safeworking qualification
• Experienced working as a Driver Trainer in mainline heavy rail environments
• Route competent/qualified an advantage
• Class C unrestricted driver licence
• Hold a current CAT 1 Rail medical or be willing to obtain one
• Strong commitment to safety - demonstrate a positive attitude
• Facilitation – excellent presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
• Apply best practice train management techniques competently to ensure efficient and safe train operations
