Driver/ General Hand

Our client specialises in large scale production of detailed joinery is currently seeking an experienced Driver/General Hand to join their production warehouse team near Auburn. They have decades of experience in all facets of joinery and fit out, from residential and aged-care to full-scale commercial and retail joinery. This position is an Temp - Perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm
  
About the Role:  

• Loading joinery onto truck, tying down load/pallet to truck and then delivery to various residential & commercial job sites
• Ability to have an attention to detail when loading joinery onto the truck
• Must be willing to work both on site and in the factory
• Must have on site experience
• Assist tradespeople in a Labouring role, both in the Factory & Onsite
• Maintaining Vehicles (i.e., tidiness, daily logbook checks and organising services)
• Needs to be able to work well within a Team environment
• Pickup orders from suppliers
• Good communication skills

Key Requirements:  

• MR truck licence preferable but not essential (truck provided with a drive on C class (car) licence).
• Forklift licence highly recommended but not essential.
• Must have a Construction White Card
• Experience using power tools
