Dispatch 2IC - Meat Processing Facility

Our client is one of Melbourne's leading Meat Processing Facilities, and they are on the hunt to find their next Second-in-Command to their growing team in the boxed beef Dispatch area of their Knoxfield warehouse. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have experience working in cold-storage and freezer environments, working with packaged meat products and are looking for a temp-perm opportunity! 

About the role:

• Transport Scheduling 
• High Reach Forklift Operation
• Preparing customer's orders for dispatch
• Stock rotation as well as inventory and stock management 
• Communication with production, warehouse, QC and other departments 
• Record keeping
• Picking and Packing 

Requirements:

In order to establish your career within this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

• Minimum 12 months of experience operating an LF High Reach Forklift
• Hold a valid LF Licence
• Have availability for 5 shifts a week, Monday-Friday
• Experience working in a cool room/ freezer environment (-22 degrees) is highly desirable 
• MUST be comfortable and able to work with packaged meat products
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Confident working with SAP and MS Suite 
• A strong safety focus
• Hold a current Driver's Licence and have reliable transport
