Boilermaker Welders

Overview:
Trojan Recruitment Group are currently seeking experienced Boilermaker Welders for an immediate weld test. These roles are for a Navy Defence maintenance contract in Henderson.
  
About The Role:

• Maintenance / fabrication – Working on Navy Submarines
• Local Henderson Based work
• Day Shift – (06:30-15:30) – pay rate $45.05+pens+allowances
• Afternoon Shift (15:30- 12 midnight) – pay rate $51.81+pens+allowances
• Approx 4/5 months work with possibility of extension
• Starting on the 2nd week of January 2021.

  
Skills & Experience:

• Able to read and understand drawings
• Ability to weld - Stick and Tig welding
• Ability to work in tight positions / Tanks
• Previous maintenance experience working on navy vessels highly desirable

  
Key Requirements:

• Must be an Australian Citizen – (Australian Passport or Birth certificate or Citizenship Certificate)
• National Police Clearance (within 3 months)–Must be willing to obtain 
• Confined space licence (within 2 years)
• Australian Recognised Trade Cert
• White Card
• Drivers licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Flexibility to work day or afternoon shift
