Assembly Worker

Our client is one of Australia's leading manufacturers of heating and cooling appliances. They are looking for a skilled Assembly Worker to join their close-knit team, and to assist them in providing exceptional service to their customers and clients. About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assembly, testing and packaging of spare parts
• Assembling and turning spare parts into finished goods 
• Sticking to production schedules - strong time-management skills
• Confident use of hand tools
• General housekeeping and cleaning of the warehouse 
• Ensuring that all orders are completed to the highest quality level and standard 
• Flagging and reporting parts shortages  

What we are looking for: 

• At least 1 year of experience working in an Assembly role
• Confidence with using all hand and power tools 
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable  
• Current LF licence and experience operating a forklift is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong problem solving skills 
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment  
• Punctuality, reliability and efficiency 
• Valid Driver's Licence and access to a car to commute to and from work each day
• Must be available Mon-Fri
• Ability to perform physical work
• Dedicated with proven ability to show initiative and a "can do" positive attitude
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
